Our research so far outlines the Letting Agents below, but we need more information to have a full picture of the extent of rip-off ‘fees’, high rents and deposits, the need for guarantors, discrimination against people on Housing Benefit and DSS, insecure tenancies, lack of long term housing opportunities and general dodgy practices.
With this information we can ‘Name and Shame ‘ and take action against those that choose to work this way.
Haringey Letting Agent rip offs
The following information has been gained through phoning the letting agents in question and asking them questions, posing as a potential person seeking a home to rent.
